The first international online hackathon for women programmers
With the creation of this programming event only for women, NUWE aims to increase the female presence in the technology industry and create references to inspire more women to develop their careers as programmers.
Did you know?
Currently, only 3 out of 10 jobs in the IT industry are held by women.
FemHack was created to change this situation.
During 3 days, women from all over the world will be able to demonstrate their skills as programmers in different modalities.
Leading companies and speakers from the technology area will accompany us throughout this journey to promote the paradigm shift and create a networking space for all.
What is FemHack about?
FemHack consists of an online hackathon where women programmers will have to develop different challenges in the modalities of Frontend, Backend, Mobile, or/and Data Science.
Furthermore, due to the many talks by leading women in the IT field, FemHack is a space to share experiences with everyone.
FemHack format
Each programmer must choose a single modality in which to develop the proposed challenges. The programmers will have to develop both an individual and a team challenge, separated on different days. This is an international event and therefore the official language of the event is English.
Modalities and level
The challenges are designed so that women programmers of all levels can participate in Frontend, Backend, Mobile, and Data Science. From junior to senior, you are all invited.
Achievements and prizes
There will be prizes worth more than 100.000,00 € for the first three candidates in each category. All FemHack participants will receive an official NUWE certificate of attendance. In addition, we will also hold different raffles among all participants.
