The MediaMarkt Hackathon Let's Go is a coding competition organized by Mediamarkt and powered by Nuwe. This hackathon will take place on Saturday March 25th. This is the basic information that you need to know in order to join the competition:

• 📅 Date: March 25th, 2023, at 9:00 CET to 18:00 PM competition hackathon day+ three more days to upload the solution to Nuwe’s platform- till Tuesday 28th at 11.59 am CEST).

• 📍 Format: Online and held in Nuwe’s virtual world.

• 🧩 Competition categories: Cloud Engineering and Apps & Store Touchpoints (React).

• 🧑🏽‍💻 Profile and level: junior to senior.

• 🤝 Participation: Individual.

• 💰 Prizes: MediaMarkt prizes (read below and in prizes icon).

• 📋 Jobs: Best performing participants might be approached by MediaMarkt as there are up to 3 vacancies in each of the technical backgrounds of the challenges. Job opportunities are only in Spain (Media Markt Saturn TH Services Barcelona S.A) so candidates would have to either live or relocate into Spain for which VISA demand can be supported.

✨ Goal of the competition

The main objective of this Hackathon is for the participants to show their skills, win prizes redeemable (in the 13 countries where MediaMarkt operates) and have hiring options (Spain).

You will have to choose in which category you want to participate. The two categories available for the participants to compete are:

• 🔒 Apps & Store Touchpoints challenge- React

📍 Virtual World

We are happy to tell you that the MediaMarkt Hackathon Let's Go will be held in the Gather virtual world which will allow you to meet a few representatives of MediaMarkt. You will have access to it days before the event.

🏅 Prizes

There will be 5 MediaMarkt prizes for each modality challenge. Prizes will be awarded in the winner's country of residence if the winner resides in one of the 13 countries where MediaMarkt has its own stores: Germany, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Poland, Austria, the Netherlands, Hungary, Sweden, Switzerland, Belgium, Portugal and Luxembourg. Note: No prizes will be sent outside these 13 countries.

MediaMarkt employees can participate in the hackathon but will not opt for the rewards that would be assigned to the following best participant.
