The ZURICH CLOUD HACKATHON is a coding international competition organized by ZURICH and powered by NUWE. The hackathon consists of two phases: an online pre-selection phase that will end on Monday, June 26th, and an on-site final phase on Saturday, July 15th at Zurich's Barcelona offices. Join now in this exciting and unique competition to showcase your DevOps Cloud skills and have the chance to be part of Zurich International Cloud team in Spain. This is the essential information you need to know to participate in the competition.
📅 Dates:
On-line preselection phase: from Friday June 9th at 09.30 am to Monday July 1st at 12.59 pm.
On-site final phase: Saturday, July 15th at 9:00 am to 19:00 pm (CEST) at Zurich Barcelona offices.
📍 Format: On-line preselection phase (NUWE's platform) / On-site final phase: Zurich - Technology Delivery Center (C/Bac de Roda, 64, Barcelona), Building D, 5th Floor, Left.).

The main objective of this international Hackathon is for the participants to show and learn their skills, with Cloud challenges, participate and qualify for the final phase, interacting with other participants, do networking and become a new member of the Zurich International Cloud team in Spain.
Two Cloud challenges will be raised in two phases:
🖥️ On-line preselection phase challenge: Individual Cloud challenge where you will have to revamp your sales department's workflow with an automated infrastructure that seamlessly integrates new customers. Say goodbye to manual DynamoDB updates
🔒 On-site final phase challenge: Only for the finalists located in Europe.
** NUWE will contact finalists in order to confirm and manage their presence at the final phase. ZURICH will manage the stay for the participants who are finalists.

Prizes will be delivered for the team winner. ZURICH will manage prizes with the winners. The prizes may under no circumstances be given to a person other than the winners, nor may they be substituted for their cash value.
