The DANONE HACKATHON MEXICO is a coding competition organized by DANONE and powered by NUWE. This hackathon will take place on Saturday June 17th. This is the basic information that you need to know in order to join the competition:
📅 Date: June 17th, 2023: competition hackathon Gather virtual day.
🇲🇽 9:00 to 18:00 pm. (Mexico-Central Standard Time-CST).
🇪🇺 17:00 to 02.00 am. (Central European Summer Time (CEST).
*To deliver and upload your solution in NUWE's platform you will have time till Monday, June 19th at 10 am (Mexico CST)- 18 pm (Europe-CEST), but it's important to be on Hackathon virtual day in order to have interaction with DANONE mentors and do networking with DANONE Mexico team.
📍 Format: Online and held in NUWE’s virtual world.
🧩 Competition categories: Frontend and Data Science.
🧑🏽💻 Profile and level: junior to senior.
🤝 Participation: Individual.
💰 Prizes: 2 prizes for top 2 participants for each category. (see in prizes)
📋 Jobs: Best performing participants will be approached by DANONE Mexico team to cover vacancies in each of the technical backgrounds of the challenges. Danone job opportunities are only in Mexico area .

The main objective of this Hackathon is for the participants to show and learn new skills in the categories stablished, interact with other participants and have hiring options to be part of DANONE IT&Data Mexico team.
You will have to choose in which category you want to participate. The two categories available for the participants to compete are:

The aim of this hackathon is to have the possibility to participate in a selection process to become part of DANONE IT&Data Mexico team. Any of the performer participants that deliver the solution to the challenge (frontend or data science) could be contacted by the DANONE Mexico team, after the hackathon day and evaluation, for vacancies in each of the technical areas of the challenges (Data Science and Frontend).
A career opportunity will only be offered after a subsequent interview to evaluate the candidate and check the candidate's interest and skills. In case both parties are interested, the job opportunity will be followed up.
Important: The job vacancies opportunities are for Mexico city offices.
2 prizes will be delivered for the top 2 participants for each modality challenge. Prizes will be awarded in the winner's country of residence.
1rst Top Participant:

**If there is a winner from outside the Mexican area, the prize will be processed in his/her currency.
DANONE will be responsible for managing prizes with the winners. The prizes may under no circumstances be given to a person other than the winners, nor may they be substituted for their cash value.
